At NuRi, we believe that every child deserves to grow up in a world that nurtures their rights, empowers their voices, and supports their emotional well-being. Recognizing that children experience the world in uniquely personal ways, we use storytelling to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and their everyday realities. For us, storytelling can be through anything- art, drama, movement therapy, or just interactive and anecdotal narratives. Our work spans across critical areas, including child sexual abuse awareness, constitutional education, and the emotional well-being of children and adolescents.

Through interactive workshops, NuRi teaches children about their fundamental rights, such as the right to education, safety, and dignity. The organization emphasizes the importance of understanding these rights so that young individuals can recognize and resist any form of abuse or exploitation.

Projects
A general description of the Projects.
Project Sparsh
Focused on ending the silence around child sexual abuse, Project Sparsh educates children on the differences between safe and unsafe touch, helps them understand the importance of personal boundaries, and encourages open conversations on these critical topics. We also provide parents from marginalized communities with the tools and knowledge to support their children if they experience or report abuse.
Project Samvidhan
Bringing the Indian Constitution to life, Project Samvidhan is dedicated to teaching young students the fundamentals of their rights and duties as citizens. Through interactive activities, games, and discussions, we make the principles of the Constitution accessible and engaging, fostering a sense of civic responsibility from an early age.
Project Savera
Recognizing the importance of emotional intelligence, Project Savera focuses on the social and emotional development of children and adolescents. Through workshops and group activities, we help young minds develop empathy, build confidence, and cultivate the resilience needed to navigate life's challenges.
